Global Warming (How long do we have?)

On this the day after Earth day. I begin to wonder, "how quickly are we really destorying the earth"? How many more decades, years, months, hours, or minutes do we have before we past the point of no return, in which we have caused so much damage that it becomes irreversible? Who knows, we could be past it all ready. One thing is for sure, the scientific debate is long over, but unfortunetly we still lack a real plan. I think this needs to be addressed more on a global scale and soon. I know the Kyoto protocol is out there, but without the U. S. A. and other nations like Australia stepping up it would appear that things are just going to get progressively worse. How many species need to become extinct before we act? Just a few inches of extra water across the world won't affect anything right? Let's ask the people in Alaska and in every coastal area in the world what they think. Well, what can we do to change things? Any thoughts?

we can start by holding these large scale companies in the great U S A responsible and our great president accountable for not doing a dam thing about it. maybe if he got his head out of that barrel of oil in the middle east he would see that, i mean really, thats the only reason we are there.

Global Warming! yes... it is not only us humans which are emitting green house gasses,. the planet would be doing without our help. even if we tried our hardest to live in the dark for 10 years we would not change a thing. *CHEERS*

they should start working their asses off i want them to fix it and i don't want people and anything that lives in this world to die because of the actions these people are making they should start fixing this and picking up trash and anything else they could use to fix it......this could affect us in so many ways we would have to stop doing celebrations and stop making new iventions because of th is selfish, stupid, idiotic, dumb people we call friends, family and all that...............i understand that mother nature would not like this at all because she does her part and now it's yours...so start doing your part........

People that leads our country should be the first one the list to take a step forward that combats against this common but unnoticed issue.
